Merry Christmas!

So this week was pretty good, on Tuesday we had our Mission President come and do studies with us. I was nervous at first, but while he was there, it was really good. I had a good time! I thought that he was going to rebuke us, but he didn't, so that was nice! Then we had our weekly meeting.  The weather has been rainy here, so we went tracking for like 5 hours, because nobody was outside. We were able to get some return appointments for this week, so hopefully we can go and teach them! I also went on an exchange with Elder White, so that was fun! He is my district leader, and he is super cool. We had a lot of fun/He speaks Spanish, so I had no idea what was going on the most of the day. We also had some fun activities on Christmas Eve and Christmas. We played some games, and then on Christmas, we went caroling. It was a pretty fun week! It was really slow, because everybody was busy for the holidays, so they did not want to meet with us that much.

Hope you all had a great Christmas and hope you have a Happy New Year!

This week was decent. We had 3 lessons and the people are super cool. We have been teaching this Romanian guy for a couple of weeks, and last night was kind of a bash, and it lasted for almost 2 hours. He has a problem with the Book of Mormon, and with Jospeh Smith. He says that he needs to know where Joseph Smith is prophesied in the Bible. We showed him several places, but he still won't believe us. Elder Hofer was getting a little bit worked up, and there was a lot of tension, so I just ended it. We are going to meet with him in a couple of weeks.

We also met with Charles. He is a cool guy, and he knows a lot about our church, and his mother in las is a member. He is interested, and he has a lot of questions. I think that if we can gt him to come to church, then he would have a lot of questions answered.

Hopefully, we can get several people out to church this week.

We got a little bit of rain here a couple of days ago, so that was nice. It kinda cooled things down.

President Mullen is also going to be joining us in our studies for tomorrow, so we will see how that goes! But other than that, not much is going on!

Hope you have a great week!

So this week was a little bit hectic, but it was also pretty good. I got to my new area in Corona, and got all moved in! Our apartment is really big, but it is trashed! It is super messy, and it kinda sucks, but I am getting it cleaned up and it is better than it was.  I'm excited to see how this transfer turns out!

We talked to some really cool people on the streets, and hopefully we will be able to meet with them next week. We got a referral from a member about this guy that is Romanian, and he wanted a Book of Mormon. We delivered it to him and he seemed really interested. He told us to come back on Sunday, so we did, and he was like trying to bash with us, but at the same time, he was willing to listen to us. It was a pretty weird lesson.

So, I have not met with many other people because the work here is pretty slow, but hopefully we can change that soon.

We had a ward Christmas party at the Long's house, and it was amazing! They had soooooooo much cool stuff, it was unbelievable! They had 5 BelAir cars, 2 Mach 1's and a ton of other cars. He has like 25-30 vintage cars, and they all run, and almost all of them are perfect! I thought that I died and went to heaven!!! I took a ton of pictures on my GoPro.

I'm glad that the weather has finally cooled down here. It's been in the 60's and 70's.

I'm really looking forward to SEEING and talking to my family at Christmas! Yeah Ha!!!

Hope you all have a great week.

So this week was a little hectic, but it was good. We were able to meet with Mary and we had a really good discussion. I am super sad, because we had transfer calls on Saturday and we are going to our new areas today. I am going to go to Corona now. I am going to be in one of the richest places in the mission. My new companion is Elder Hofer. I don't know anything about him, but I hope that he is cool. He has been out for about 4 months, so he is still fairly new. I am not sure what the work is like there because I have heard different things, like the members take good care of us, but the work is not that great because everyone is rich and they are prideful. I hope that the work is better than others make it out to be.

I sure am going to miss Elder Spencer. We had a lot of fun, and we were able to baptize Mary! I am going to have a new car now, so that will be nice!!! I'm also in a new apartment where I have my own bathroom, and we have a washer and dryer!!!!! I am so excited to be able to do laundry!

I hope that this is going to be a really fun transfer, and I hope that we can get a lot of work done. I love being able to teach people about the gospel, and I love seeing the way that it changes people's lives for the better. 😊

One thing that really bummed me out this week, was that we went over to Sister Goff's house and nobody was there, which was kind of strange because she can't really go anywhere. Then on Sunday we were talking to her son, and come to find out, she moved to someplace near LA!!! She didn't even tell us, and that made me sad. I hope that she will do fine wherever she is.

Update about the break in's at the church! They did it again and they stole some computers and files and stuff from the clerk's office. How sad.😢

Well, that's about all the excitement that I've had this week. As I get to know my new area and new companion, I'll fill you in on how things are going!

Until then...

Have a great week!
